Why Should I Go?

Around 1 kilometre wide, Feng-Chia Night Market is the premiere night market experience in Taiwan. Visitors with time to come to Taichung City are highly recommended to visit Feng-Chia.

Packed full of fun xiaochi snacks and cool shops (and also packed full of people), Feng-Chia night market is the epitome of the Taiwanese night market.

During the weekend, as much as 30,000 people can pass through the market, which is home to Wenhua Night Market, Fengjia Road, Xitun Road, Fuxing Road, Beacon Sun Plaza, not to mention all of the lanes and alleys in between!

Described as a "sensory feast for both eyes and palate", Feng Chia Night Market is not to be missed!

Many fashionable boutiques are located within the maze of alleys, along the main roads, and also located in the higher levels of shopping centers.

Outside the main intersection at Fengjia Road is an iBike station (similar to Taipei City's YouBike as the systems are linked). Visitors are encouraged to travel green and take an iBike. It also wouldn't hurt to get some exercise after filling up on delicious xiaochi snacks.

Since getting to/from Feng-Chia from Taipei City takes 2 ½ hours by long-distance intercity bus to Chaoma (朝馬), visitors are recommended to stay overnight in Taichung. There is a selection of hotels near the night market in the Xitun District of Taichung City.

How to Get There?

From Taipei City:
Take a long distance intercity bus from Q-Square Long Distance Bus Station (next to Taipei Main Station) to Chaoma (朝馬), then either take a taxi or Youbike to Feng-Chia.
