The North Coast Shuttle Bus is a service that links MRT Tamsui Station at the northern end of the MRT Red Line 2 to Keelung. Leaving approximately every hour on weekdays and every half hour on weekends, the bus connects all of the major attractions along the North Coast.
A one day pass is available for NT$200 directly onboard the bus.
The bus ticket can be used as a voucher to receive discounts at various restaurants and shops along the line. More information can be found inside the promotional pamphlet on the bus.

Where do I board the bus?
From Tamsui - After arriving at MRT Tamsui Station (Red Line 2), exit the station and make a right turn. Walk 100 meters and you will find the "Taiwan Tourist Shuttle - North Coast Shuttle Bus" in front of Kavalan Whiskey and Mr. Brown Coffee, located at bay #6, signed route 862.
From Keelung Train Station - In front of the train station next to the Visitor Information Center is the boarding area for the "Taiwan Tourist Shuttle - North Coast Shuttle Bus".
It is recommended to board the bus in Tamsui, and finish the day at Keelung having a seafood dinner at Miaokou Night Market or even stay overnight, at prices lower than that of Taipei City.
