Why Should I Go?

Located in the northern section of Qingjing Farm, the Green Green Grasslands are an open pasture ground for livestock such as sheep and cows. Visitors are able to see the animals up close and interact with them.

The Sheep Castle stands at the northeast corner of the farm, and visitors can feed sheep and other farm animals.

Higher in elevation than the pasture area, this section of the park offers different views of the surrounding mountains including Hehuan Mountain.

The sheep-shearing show is located at the eastern edge of the Green Green Grasslands and can easily be identified by its large stage area. The show includes a New Zealand-style sheep sheering demonstration, as well as farm dogs herding sheep, and a sheep auction.

The Sheep Show is scheduled on weekends and holidays at 9:30AM and 2:30PM, after which many visitors like to enjoy the horsemanship show.

Pony rides are offered during the day with the exception of during the sheep-shearing shows.

Trail #8, the Great Wall Trail, is located along the western edge of the area, stretching from the Lan Cui Pavilion past the Han Yan Pavilion up to the Observation Deck near to the North Ticket Booth.

How to Get There?

The grasslands are located inside the northern section of Qingjing Farm. The easiest way to reach the area is by entering the farm from the north gate or by walking up north from the Guanshan Pasture. Be aware this section is at the highest elevation in the park, and some visitors may prefer to start here and walk downhill.
