Why Should I Go?
Built as a sister shrine to the National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine in Taipei, the shrine was built to honour the fallen Kuomintang soldiers after the Chinese Civil War (and subsequent government relocation to Taiwan), honouring the lives and sacrifices of the KMT soldiers during the war against the communists in mainland China.
How to Get There?
From Hualien City, travel northeast on Linsen Road (林森路) over the bridge. At the end of this road is a staircase leading up to the shrine.
