Why Should I Go?
Previously Hualien’s largest and most popular night market, Ziqiang Night Market is now part of Tungtamen Night Market (東大門夜市) located in Downtown Hualien City.
Originally located west of the train station, tourism organisation efforts have encouraged the vendors to centralise in the downtown area.
How to Get There?
By Train
From Taipei Main Station (台北車站), take a Puyuma Limited Express or Tze-Chiang Express train to Hualien (花蓮). After exiting the front entrance of the station, either take a 10 minute taxi ride or 35-40 minute walk down Zhongshan Road (中山路) past the city downtown area towards the waterfront.
