Why Should I Go?
The premiere beach destination in Taiwan, Kenting is located at the southernmost tip of Taiwan Island.
The best bathing area is around Nanwan (南灣).
Most hotels are around the Kenting Street Night Market area.
How to Get There?
By High Speed Rail:
After arriving at HSR Zuoying Station, take the bus to Kenting. Alternatively, make an arrangement with a taxi or private car driver nearby. The drive should take around 2 hours by bus, or 90 minutes by car.
What Else?
The popular Taiwanese film Cape No. 7 (海角七號) was filmed in and around the Kenting and Hengchun areas. Fans of the film will recognize many locations throughout the area.
